I have been working in the field of education since 1991. I started my career with Kalamazoo Public Schools teaching 3rd and 4th grade; then spent 8 years teaching Kindergarten and First Grade for Huron School District in New Boston. After taking some time off to be with my children I started working for Lapeer School District in 2004 and during my 15 years with them I taught GSRP, Early 5s, Kindergarten, and also served as the District's Early Childhood Supervisor. In 2019, I joined Oxford School District as the Director of Early Childhood and supervise all of the child care and preschool programs for the District.
I have been married to my husband John for 25 years and we have 2 sons; Jonathon who is a junior at MSU and Alexander is a senior at Oxford High School. We have lived in Oxford for 20 years and I enjoy spending time in my garden, golfing, and traveling with my family.
