2020 Summer Camp

Oxford School District has made the decision to delay the possible opening of OELC’s Summer Camp.  If we determine it is safe to open for our summer program, it will now begin on Monday, July 6.

All of the following factors are some of the guidelines that will be in place if we are able to have our camp:

  • Special Classes will be cancelled; students will be with the same teachers and group of kids all day
  • Our drop off and pick up times will most likely be adjusted to allow staff time for additional cleaning – The time change will most likely be 7:00am-5:00pm
  • There is a possibility that the program will be held at OELC instead of Lakeville; this is all contingent on the completion of the parking lot
  • All off site field trips will be cancelled
  • Drop off and Pick up will occur at the door; parents will not be allowed into the building
  • Staff and students will be temp checked before entering each day; if your child's temp is 100.4 or higher he or she will not be allowed to stay
  • Students showing any sign of sickness will need to be picked up immediately
  • If anyone at home has a fever or is showing any signs of COVID-19 your child will not be allowed to attend
  • Teachers will be wearing masks
  • Students may be required to wear masks depending upon the age
  • Social distancing will occur to the best extent possible

The processes we need to follow in order to have our summer program are ever changing and as we determine what is best we are taking into consideration the health and safety of our families and staff.

OELC Director Ann Robb can be contacted at 248-969-5047 or 248-495-5378 to enroll your child or if you have questions about OELC Summer Camp.  Please leave a message if she is unable to answer and she will return your call as soon as possible.
